A new opportunity for film locations, Kinmel Estate has much to offer the prospective filmmaker. Along with the formal parkland, we can offer exterior locations at our thirty residential properties and nine farms and interior filming in the two family houses.  Much of the 1,000-acre park is still serviced by historic lodges with stone tracks, affording unrivaled chances to capture period footage in a relatively untouched but easily accessible location. Whilst still in the park, a glimpse of the largest house in Wales is all that is needed to portray the high point of Victorian opulence. The 1,000 acres of woodland range from small copses and spinneys through to vast forests. A riverside picnic, a working farm, an ancient forest, a medieval watch tower - the list is only as long as your imagination.

Added to these traditional sites is a diversification portfolio that offers chances for filming a wide range of contemporary activities, be it golf at our 24-bay driving range and golf course, paintballing at our adventure games site, quad biking through the 1,000 acres of woodland, or a day’s shooting and fishing, be that modern or historic.
